   UNPUBLISHED PHOENIX JOURNAL 185 – CHAPTER 16
   10/19/96 LANTO, THE SAGE — Lessons shall be a continuous part of your life experience

   Greetings, my friend, it is I, Lanto, the Sage. I come in the Radiant Oneness of Creator’s Magnificent Light.

   Lessons shall be a continuous part of your life experience. The only TRUE purpose for expressing in the third-dimensional experience is that of SPIRITUAL GROWTH.
   You one who write these messages have a tremendous responsibility, thus the impact of the day-today experience is great. The question is: Will you sit and write so that your brother might wake up, or will you get distracted by the daily impact of living? This is perhaps the hardest thing to face for you ones who write these messages.

   Let me tell on my scribe. My scribe is relatively young to the physical experience and wishes to have a family someday. The thought of the work ahead allows for nearly no opportunity to pursue this sort of thing. The question as to what is more important will, from time to time, come around to distract ones, like this receiver, from their Higher Purpose. This is always a problem for Ground Crew in general—especially on a third-dimensional planet, like the one upon which you are now experiencing, where the general moral and ethical standards have degenerated to a pitiful level.

   There is, in effect, a substantial “illumination” difference between the energy fields of you of Ground Crew and those who are of this planetary mindset. This difference causes ones to be attracted to you because of your greater Light, much like a moth to a flame. But, just as a moth will get burnt if it gets too close to an open flame, so, too, will YOU burn another (or getburnt by another) if you are not properly suited to one another.

   Relationships can be time consuming, energy draining, and distracting—to say the least. My scribe questions me as to why we are addressing such a SEEMINGLY personal topic. But KNOW that this is a matter of great general concern.

   There are more and more Ground Crew members waking-up at this time.
   There are more and more physically young ones who are going through their own personal experiences with relationships and families.
   There are ones who are feeling lonely and rejected because they cannot seem to find the “right person”, or they are trying desperately to make an existing relationship work—when the other doesn’t even want to see or hear the Higher messages of spiritual Truth such as are brought forth in the CONTACT newspaper.

   You CANNOT force another to see Truth if they are not ready for Truth—especially, of all things, not spiritual Truth!
   You can offer another a helping hand, but you cannot force another to take it. YOU must be responsible for all YOUR actions and choices.
   If YOU choose to ignore your “call to service”, then YOU must live with that choice.

   If you have a spouse who is antagonistic towards your beliefs, then I must ask you: Why did you choose to commit yourself to such a challenge?

   Some will become desperate in their attempts to hold a relationship together. They may even bring children into the picture in order to try to “solidify” the family unit. This is yet another responsibility, and if there is not balance PRIOR to the child’s conception, then you can rest assured there will NOT be balance afterwards!

   You must seek to understand EXACTLY who you are and why you are here, if you are to find stability.
   You must find your own inner peace and be happy and content with who you are—for if you are not happy with self, or you do not know what it is that makes you feel so restless, then how can you expect another to “magically” fulfill this for you?

   Please know that it is quite natural to want to express within the family unit and have a balanced emotional exchange with another. But please keep in mind that you, if you are Ground Crew, have volunteered to go down there and fulfill a certain mission or role—not get wrapped up in the “typical” experience of the expression.

   Many of the ones awakening now are having difficulties with family and friends not accepting them for who they are because these awakening Ground Crew are perceived to have, somehow, “wandered off into some spiritual kick”.
   If another cannot accept you for who you are, then that is THEIR problem, not yours. If YOU choose to react to another’s problem, then that is YOUR choice and YOUR problem.

   I, Lanto, would suggest that, if another will only accept you IF…, then that person is, in fact, judging (placing conditions upon) you based upon their own prejudices and beliefs. You would do well to consider the LONG TERM implications of remaining in a relationship with such a person, whether it be friend, spouse, or other family members.
   By making this cautionary observation, I am NOT giving anyone permission or telling anyone to divorce or anything else! YOU must make your own choices and deal with the resulting situations that YOU have created.

   Many Ground Crew members get caught up in the day-to-day struggle to “just fit in” or “just be ‘normal’ “.
   Did you ever stop to think that you might not be “normal” and that you may NEVER really fit-in to the prevailing “normal” society?

   Most of you who are disposed to read these messages are NOT of this world! You have come here to assist your younger (less awake) brothers. You did NOT come here to be LIKE your younger brothers! However, it IS quite normal to sense that you don’t “fit in” or that you don’t belong.

   Realize that, while you are down there, in the physical, you will have ALL the impacting factors of the ego to deal with.
   Fear is the largest single factor: – Fear of embarrassment. – Fear of being different. – Fear of being wrong. – Fear for personal safety or the safety of others. – Fear of being alone. We could go on and on.

   The point is to show you that these are EGO-generated fears. If you have certainty in Creator God, then you truly have nothing to fear. NOTHING! Stop letting these ego-generated fears control you!

   If another is trying to control you with fear, such as by giving ultimatums like, “Do this or
   that or else…”, then I would suggest you look at the actions of such ones and call it to their
   attention. If they cannot see what it is that they are doing, then YOU need to recognize with
   whom, exactly, you are dealing, for the adversary’s influence is often subtle.
   EVEN THE BEST OF GROUND CREW ARE NOT IMMUNE TO THE PRESSURES OF THE ADVERSARY.

   I will also caution you who are reading this that you monitor yourselves closely and make
   sure that you are not trying to use subtle fear tactics to control another. God is not of force;
   He does NOT use fear to control anyone.

   Religions may very well use fear to control their flocks. Governments most certainly do use
   fear to control the masses. Parents may use fear to control their children. Creator God does
   NOT!

   It is your responsibility to pull yourself out of your own fears. This does not mean that you
   must do it ALONE. When the time is right, and you are ready, the teacher, guide or way shower will appear. But you must be ready and accepting of the help when and where it is presented to you.

   Remember the prior lessons about how “like attracts like”. If you are easily controlled by
   your fears, then you will attract to you someone who is also insecure with their own self.
   Thus, you will have two insecure people attempting to find security (from their fears) in one another, instead of finding it within self. And this only creates a larger problem, not balance.

   Seek first to know and balance self. Rid yourself of your own fears PRIOR to entering into your next relationship.
   Then, if such is to be, you will find that you will attract “the person of your dreams” for, in a balanced state, you will naturally see through and repel those who are still trying to play their little control games. To do otherwise, you run the risk of being completely miserable and unfulfilled because you will have distracted yourself from your more important, Higher Purpose.

   The adversary will exploit ALL of your weaknesses in an attempt to keep you from realizing your TRUE potential.
   Using the ego to distract you, such as with fear, is the oldest trick in the book. Why? Because it WORKS!

   So, my message to this scribe, and to those of you out there (who are feeling lonely or rejected or have gone through relationship after relationship only to find yourself wanting or needing “more”) is to FIRST seek to balance self, heal from your past battle wounds, find your happiness within, and have faith that your Guides and God DO understand and KNOW what it is that you need. However, keep in mind that what you actually need, and what you may think you need, are almost always different.

   Go within and ask for that which is for the highest good—and expect an answer. But now a caution: You may not always like the answer that you hear!

   Please keep in mind that there are infinite journeys of the soul and that you have existed prior to this experience and that you have done all of this MANY, MANY times before. You HAVE had your families. You will again, if you so desire, have families. Some of you never stop to realize that you are a part of a much larger family out here among the stars. It is just that you are currently assigned to the “starship” Earth-Shan. You are, in effect, “out to sea” and away from “home”, on a mission.

   So, next time you are feeling lonely or depressed, perhaps a nice trip out away from the city lights to look at the stars would be helpful. Even if you tend to perceive yourself as being alone, you are, in fact, NEVER alone. We of the Higher Realms are ALWAYS there, ready to assist, if you but ask.

   These sorts of adversarial attacks are the challenges you must face and overcome. Be persistent in your endeavors to find balance for the adversary will not like that he is losing his grip on you. Keep in mind, also, that even when he cannot control you directly, he can attempt to influence and control those around you. Learn to recognize his subtle trickery and gamesmanship. He is a master of manipulation.

   LANTO: LISTEN TO THOSE IMPORTANT ‘GUT FEELINGS’

   Editor’s note: The following writing is by the Ascended Master known as Lanto, the Sage of the Second Ray or Aspect of Creator’s spectrum, among the seven great “Rainbow Masters” communicating at this time to help us get through Earth-Shan’s planetary transition and rebalancing.

   Greetings, my friend, I am most recognized by you ones as Lanto, the Sage. I come in the Light of the One Light. I represent the Second Ray or aspect of Creator’s spectrum.
   The visible spectrum of Light only represents a harmonic of the frequencies that make up all of creation. In the third-dimensional compression, you ones are often limited in your perceptions.
   Not only are there non-visible, third-dimensional aspects of Creator’s Light, there are also higher-dimensional shifts associated with Creator’s energy expressions. Do not get hung up on colors associated with a Representative of an aspect of Creator.
   We all (you ones included) express on all frequencies or wavelengths. Ones are usually drawn to a certain aspect of Creator; thus there is more affinity associated with one area over another. This is because we are all created with a purpose in mind, and that purpose can be most easily filled through certain aspects of Creator.

   Note, please, the balance is of utmost importance for proper growth.

   All ones will gravitate towards Sananda’s Christ Energy. Many will gravitate towards Hilarions’ Heart Energy or Germain’s Transmuting Energy. This is mostly due to the level of the expressing individuals.
   You ones are restless and need change. Thus Germain will appeal to you, for he is Master of that aspect of Creator’s expression.

   I am Guide and Teacher; I am the “gut feeling” you ones get.
   The physical color associated with my energy is the golden yellow color – though the etheric color would be perceived differently.
   Ones who can see the colors of the Auric Field will most often perceive my energy as a blending of colors.
   I am a Teacher. I have learned my lessons well and have earned my position among the other Masters. We all have overlapping aspects and can express on any of the frequencies, though there is need to have specialists to answer the specific and directed needs of the ever-progressing souls.

   I have come now, at this time of change, so that you ones might receive balanced instructions and learn to follow your “gut knowingness” about what it is that you need to be doing.

   My scribe recognizes me as a communicator. Yes, indeed. I am probably the most heard, but least recognized, of the Masters, for I will speak to ones at a level that bypasses the analytical mind and resonates within the emotional energy field of the being.
   This manifests as intuition or as the “I don’t know why, but I don’t feel right about this situation” reaction. Even the most shutdown (emotionally) person will, if he has a soul, feel my nudges

   You ones must be open to the “nudges”. This is most often your Guides working with you to help you to find the right path so that you are prepared for and ready to accept your purpose.

   This does not mean that you have to GO anywhere; this is to say that your life experiences are being guided for your highest good. The more open you are toward following these internal messages, the easier it will be for you ones to get the proper insights and lessons necessary for your upcoming roles.

   Sometimes these lessons are harsh and seemingly abrupt. For example, ones are losing their jobs all over the country. Be careful in your thinking, for such “luck” is most likely for good reason.
   You may be needed elsewhere and this may be the only way to get you to look within and draw upon the Creative Energy that will guide you to a more productive experience.
   As some ones are lost, others are called to serve, so if your life seems to be turning upside down, please take a moment and call in the Light and get still.
   Notice the gut-level sensations. They can be translated into written or verbal communication with practice. This will be as if you have thought of the message yourself. You will most likely only hear your own inner voice.
   Listen to the message. Write it down or speak it into a recording device. Write or speak what comes; then discern the message. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS CALL IN THE LIGHT BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THIS EXERCISE! Otherwise the dark side shall almost surely come to influence and trick you.

   We are fast approaching a time when you ones shall all be consciously receiving.
   The mere fact that you are drawn to this information source (CONTACT), and are reading this message, implies that you are, and have been, receiving at least at the “gut level”.
   Well, imagine that!
   It is not everyone’s task to write public messages for the masses. It is, however, YOUR God-given right to connect up to Higher Source and receive your own personal instructions.
   Your Guides are there for you at this time to help coordinate your training and life experiences. Be patient with those around you. If they do not share your beliefs, do not condemn them, for each is responsible for their own self. You do not know the contract of another, so when one experiences as, let’s say, a lawyer, that one just may be necessary to help YOU at a later date.
   Ones may deny their spiritual side, yet they may be the inventor or scientist who brings new technology to your world. Ones are allowed to ignore their spiritual side if they so choose. There is no force from we of the Lighted Brotherhood.

   If you come across others who don’t seem to hear, or want to listen to, spiritual truth, do not condemn them. Look to their actions. Most often these ones are the more advanced ones who recognize the religions are very confusing, and thus choose to avoid ANY spiritual discussion whatsoever.

   THEIR ACTIONS WILL HOLD CLUES TO THEIR BEING: Are they generally kind and caring? Do they know innately what is right and what is wrong?

   Despite the robotic overpopulation of your planet, it is still full of Godly people who only want to do what is right. These ones know right from wrong because they innately FEEL the difference. This is because they are connected to the God Source–even if they do not acknowledge the connection.

   This message is coming now so that you ones begin to realize that YOU are receiving guidance. Moreover, note well that there is fast approaching a time when, due to external physical events, the means for getting the CONTACT newspaper delivered will be nearly impossible.
   This probable scenario shall serve as a wake-up call to you ones who are still trying to figure out if you really believe these messages of Lighted Truth.

   DOUBT IS ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE TOOLS UTILIZED BY THE DARK SIDE. IF THEY CAN’T DISSUADE YOU COMPLETELY, THEY WILL TRY TO CAST DOUBT. THUS THE INACTION, DUE TO PROCRASTINATION, WILL SET YOU BACK OR CAUSE YOU TO MISS OPPORTUNITIES SET UP FOR YOUR GROWTH.
   WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF DOUBTING THINGS SUCH AS PERSONAL WORTH OR PERSONAL BELIEFS, I WOULD SUGGEST THAT THE DOUBT IS MOST OFTEN ADVERSARILY INDUCED.
   Ones do not like being treated as an outcast, or as the one who goes against their parents’ fundamental teachings. When you doubt spiritual matters, realize, please, that there is a REAL battle going on within. This battle is for the control of your soul–or at least for the influence over your soul.

   GO WITHIN AND CALL UPON CREATOR GOD–the One Who created you! Get quiet and search your heart to find that which you know to be true. Ask any question or the heart such as, “How can I know what is real or true?”
   With such a question asked with heartfelt curiosity, the answers must come. Next you must monitor your thoughts closely, as your mind will be caused to give you the answer. Clues and experiences that hold the answer will be caused to be remembered so that you can realize what is true and what does have verification and validity.
   Rarely will you hear a voice of another–not at first, anyway–though it IS possible.

   REMEMBER TO ALWAYS CALL IN THE LIGHT FOR PROTECTION FIRST!

   Be honest with yourself and you shall know what is truth and what is half-truth or lie.
   I am Lanto, the Sage (Elder) keeper of the Second aspect of Creator’s spectrum. May your journey in Light be a reflection of the inner God Force who created you and IS you.

   THE JOURNEY INTO TRUTH AND ONENESS

   4/3/91 HATONN

   Hatonn present, and yes, I gave her an inch and she took pages. We do allow her to play at being human also for she, too, has the learning to be accomplished.
   Each of you will truly find that no job in service unto Creator/Creation is greater in totality than another–only different and only in importance of “sequence”.
   As knowledge is gained in various facets of experience — you may “prevail” in given circumstances because of knowledge — it is not appointed hierarchy (“greater position”).
   In the higher experiences, the physical ego is not present to demand stroking and, therefore, as you progress, the “pecking order” ceases to present itself.
   It is simply hard to understand for the MISunderstanding is that you move from the third dimensional physical into one with knowledge and Godness.
   No, you progress and grow into that wondrous position of ONENESS.
   There is, however, wondrous insights as you move along the journey into Truth and Oneness.
   At the “termination” of one experience–say death of the “body”, there is always the wondrous moment of understanding, total knowledge and “judgment” of the journey “so-far”. Ones who experience the “death” process and return to tell you of their experience will all tell the same basic tale–of a moment of total “knowingness”. This is most important for in that moment of Truth you KNOW what the lessons are which are learned and remain unlearned — what missions were accomplished and which remain to be finished.
   Each interim transition allows knowledge of status and growth level and an opportunity to get off the binding wheel of a need to remain longer at that particular level of experience — having not learned that which moves you ever higher toward the ONENESS and TOTAL ALLNESS.
   As you grow higher in understanding and experience, the transitions become experiences of great anticipation for as the entity grows in Truth, so are the experiences more profound and glorious.

   As the entity of individual substance–let us call it personality for lack of better definition — becomes of higher dimension and knowledge, it then becomes the teachers and guides who are the “guardians” of the less-knowing beings so that responsibilities become that of guiding another aspect into the higher path.

   Then in the overall experience of cycles, there are given the opportunities of experiencing in such manifested circumstances as planets and civilizations find themselves bogged in dense perception of forgetfulness. Then, as now, some have the privilege to participate in the “remembering” of “awakening” as we refer to it here. Each with a different function — all with the same “goal” or the “opposite goal”.

   Existence of an immortal energy is in the experiencing — not in the existing.
   It is the “experience” which is the God-given FREE CHOICE of life itself.
   Whatever you think your “choices to be” the one you are experiencing at the moment is the ONE you chose! Ponder it.
   At this instance in Dharma’s experience, she has CHOSEN to scribe for Hatonn–no matter how she complains or rejoices–it is solely her choice. It becomes my privilege to have a scribe upon whom I can always depend for service, but it is totally, 100% HER CHOICE to write or not write.

   THIS VERY POINT IS WHERE MAN BOGS DOWN; HE WANTS NO HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS OWN CHOICES.
   For instance, if you wish to change of the direction of your travels or return your nation to greatness, YOU must take responsibility as if you were the only one and as you take your place and stand in total responsibility; others shall do likewise.
   How quickly we make the change, or the difference, is determined by how strongly we respond to our responsible place of leadership and direction, teaching or writing, or, or, or. Our responsibility in this place, for instance, is to lay out circumstances as they are. We are not the first to do so nor shall be the last, however, it matters who and how the banner is taken up by the receivers as to whether or not the score shall be made by a touchdown in the ball-game.

   Dharma can do her job to perfection but if the printer puts it not to print and the distributor distributes it not and you receive of it not, nothing but exercise is gained. And even that, in itself, is experience in learned information.

   Let not any single moment escape the noting of the lesson involved and the gift offered if you will but accept it.
   A gift unto another does not change possession of ownership until the receiver accepts and takes possession of the gift.

   WITHOUT THE READERS OF THIS INFORMATION, THE INFORMATION IS VALUELESS AND THEREFORE, THE READER BECOMES THE PIVOTAL POINT OF IMPORTANCE–NOT THE WRITER.

   Do not think this point is lost on the Would-Be Elite Controllers–for they first try to stop the scribe, then the distribution of the Truth by any means possible–then they will slap rules upon you-the-readers and stop you from receiving the information and/or discounting it–FOR IT IS YOU OF WE-THE-PEOPLE WHO ARE IMPORTANT–NOT HATONN, NOT DHARMA, NOT AMERICA WEST–YOU!

   You, however, can judge the value of the writing by how hard they effort to stop it from reaching YOU, and it has been an incredible effort exerted to stop our contact and information flow from mental barrage to physical violence.
   Funny thing about attacks, however; you will find the attacked simply grow stronger and the attackers become confused and irrational and make more blunders.
   THAT IS WHY IT IS NEVER WISE TO REACT IN FEAR AND PANIC–RESPOND IN CALM WISDOM AND YOU WILL ALWAYS WIN THE ROUND.

   Something to ponder: You believe you have not experienced any miracles? You were birthed, were you not? Now, think about this–have you ever experienced death of the body? No? How about every time the heart finishes a beat? If you have not the next beat, you just died! You experience at least 40 to 200 miracles a minute of existence, and you still ask for “proof”. How often do you thank God for those 60 some-odd miracles–or do you simply complain about your lack of “comfort” and that which you perceive you have not? Think carefully about those things for it will be that for which you are grateful which shall ultimately enter as “circumstantial evidence” at your judgment hearing.
